Combat System, Almost Done, Road to V0.5


Happy New Year, everyone,

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year. 

We are almost done with the next update. So far we have implemented a complete quest and task system with a 2D tilemap on which you can move with a predefined character. On this tilemap, the player can trigger different events. 

One of the events we show in the video is the 

Turn Based Combat System

We wrote 1100 lines of code for the combat system and then deleted it all again because it didn't work the way we wanted it to. It was full of bugs and not reliable. So we deleted the combat system and started all over again, adding 1300 lines of new code. The result works now pretty well.

More content

In the next few days we will be adding more content to the game to make a great update 

  • Variation of quests and tasks in the game as well as new maps to add more variety to the game.
  • More equipment to craft
  • Additional enemies

We are also in the process of fixing the various bugs and improving the general flow of the quests and combat.
