Update 4 and Steam Page is now Available

we are testing and improving the Game continuously since we are also planning to Release the Game on Steam.

In Update 4 we also Submit the Game to  Indiepocalypse Issue #17 (Paying Anthology) - itch.io Game Jam. Check it Out the 10 selected Games get sold as Bundle, Support the Game Jam and Host PIZZAPRANKS - itch.io is highly appreciated.

Game-balancing and new waves

• We have added 10 more waves to the game.
• Existing waves have been updated and adjusted.
• The cost factor of damage upgrades has been changed.
• Changed the amount of enemy money grants.

New towers

We have added the missile and plasma beam tower complete with SFX and VFX to the game. New options to play through the game and destroy the enemies.

Improved Gameplay

• We have changed the camera angle and field of view again to improve aiming and experience.
• The enemy as well as projectile speeds have been adjusted to the new playfield size.
• The target interface on enemies is now less bright and only activates when enemies come within a certain range.
• The auto-shooting AI has been improved, it now misses less.

Various changes:

• New space background.
• New camera animation and transitions
• Camera shake adjustments
• Loading screen when transitioning from scene to scene
• Scene-Lightning adjustments
• New background music

For the Steam Page we also made new Screenshots and Promotion Pictures.

Next Plans for the Game are:

• Defender of the Turrets Game Website
• Tower AI Selection, let the Player decide which Turret which AI uses.
  • Random Target
  • Closest Target
  • Closest Target within certain Range else Random
• Enemy Warp Inside the Playfield, to give the appearance of the Enemies a more Visual and Natural Effect.
• Abilities, Can be Unlocked after Certain Levels or as Permanent Unlock with Game Progress.
• Hit-O-Meter,  If you Hit correct and fill the Meter with your Main Turret there will be an Event.
• Space Ship Kill Bonus, for certain Space Ships that get destroyed the Player receive different Effects.
